RACE WEEKEND FUN KICKS OFF AT ATLANTA MOTOR SPEEDWAY

HAMPTON, Ga. (Feb. 22, 2024) – Tomorrow, NASCAR’s rising stars hit the track, but today race fans made the opening laps of race weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Whether on two wheels in the Pedal Power Party bicycle ride around the facility or on four wheels in Speedway Children’s Charities Laps for Charity, hundreds of fans took to the 28-degree banking and made laps around the 1.54-mile oval.

SCC’s Laps for Charity kicked off a weekend full of fundraising initiatives that deliver unforgettable experiences for donors and help life-changing children’s causes in the Atlanta area. Fans can learn more about SCC’s race weekend events at https://www.speedwaycharities.org/atlanta/.

More fun awaits Friday with the Hauler Parade Presented by Raceway Ministries at 11 a.m. and qualifying for the Fr8 208 and RAPTOR King of Tough 250. The night is capped off with Legends and Bandolero racing on the AMS ¼ mile and the THOR Family of Companies Camper Appreciation Party at 6 p.m.

Action-packed racing across NASCAR’s three national touring series begins Saturday with a NASCAR doubleheader between the Fr8 208 and RAPTOR King of Tough 250. NASCAR’s best hit the track for 400 miles of white-knuckle, high-speed competition in the main event on Sunday: the Ambetter Health 400.

Great ticket and camping options are still available for fans who want to experience NASCAR in Atlanta for themselves this weekend. Grandstand tickets start at $49 for Sunday and kids 12 and under are just $10.
